Freshmill Forum is a monthly event that brings together our members and the wider local business community to share practical knowledge and connect with one another.
Each session features a short, 20-30 minute presentation from a Freshmill member on a transferrable skill, allowing time afterwards for questions, to network and of course take advantage of the excellent array of cake we like to offer on these occasions!
For this event, we will be joined by James Gaydon from The Epilepsy Institute.
James is a charity fundraiser at the Epilepsy Research Institute UK, managing sports and challenge events . The Epilepsy Research Institute is a national charity funding cutting-edge research into epilepsy — a condition that affects around 600,000 people in the UK. James was diagnosed with epilepsy himself at 17, and that personal experience now sits at the heart of everything he does in his role.
On 17th June, James will be talking about how businesses can support charities and volunteer groups — and why finding a cause that genuinely means something to you and your team makes all the difference.
