Zoe Daines
Meet Zoe Daines, the founder and creator of Freshmill. Zoe first had the idea for a coworking space in 2016 when she was looking for somewhere for her own business. She realised there was nothing like this for the local business community. And the idea of Freshmill was born! Zoe’s ambition was to create a hub to encouraged and nurture businesses in the local area. In 2017 Delta house was purchased and work began with local contractors designing and constructing Freshmill in 2018.
Since the door opened in July 2019 Freshmill has gone from strength to strength. Zoe has created a collaborative, comfortable and flexible space in surroundings that reflect the design of a private member’s club and the ease and efficiency of a serviced office.
Outside of work Zoe enjoys standing on sidelines in all weathers watching her son play various sports, long dog walks in the countryside, tending to a high maintenance retired horse and attempting to train her rather unruly black Labrador Fidget!
Sally Stubbs
Sally is a key member of our concierge team. She combines incredible efficiency with a welcoming smile and a wicked sense of humour!
Sally initially trained as cabin crew and so customer service is second nature to her. She is dedicated to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for you during your visit to Freshmill. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills, Sally is the backbone of our operation, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes.
Outside of work Sally has four children who keep her busy and enjoys long walks with her three dogs Finn, Daisy and Roger!
Chelsea Banks
Chelsea is a ray of sunshine on the concierge desk, a warm and welcoming presence who ensures all visitors are met with a smile.
She works tirelessly to make sure every aspect of the concierge desk runs like clockwork and is committed to ensuring customer ‘s needs are met promptly and professionally. A great communicator, she also takes the time to get to know our guests individually and creates great connections with them.
When not at Freshmill Chelsea is very busy looking after 4 year old Harry and 17 month old Isabelle who are delightful but like to keep her on her toes!
Caroline Ford
Caroline joined the team in 2023 to cover a maternity leave and hasn’t left! Initially on the concierge desk she built up a strong knowledge of how Freshmill works, as well as familiarity with all the clients in the building. She is now our Marketing and Communications manager having come from a background in advertising.
Caroline is thoroughly enjoying working alongside Zoe creating compelling marketing strategies that engage our prospective clients and elevate Freshmill’s presence in the market, fostering strong connections with our target audience and local community.
When not at Freshmill Caroline runs The Lindfield Brownie Company. If you time your visit right you may be able to try her wares as Freshmill hold a monthly cake day where people can enjoy a piece of cake (or two!) along with their morning coffee! Caroline also has three children and loves to sing with a choir in her spare time.
Sean Collins
Cheeky-Chappy Sean is a relatively new member to the team and has really enjoyed the challenge of getting to grips with the role.
Whether answering calls, managing appointments, or providing guests with essential information, Sean is keen to make sure your visit to Freshmill is a positive experience and will go above a beyond to resolve any issues that may arise.
When not at Freshmill Sean enjoys spending time locally with Nora, his 18-month old granddaughter, the apple of his eye! And when not with her, he can often be found travelling to South Carolina where his son and family, and soon, another grandchild reside! Sean is a keen member of Lindfield Tennis Club as can frequently be found as the quiz master at The Red Lion in Lindfield.
