Freshmill Events

Freshmill Forum is a monthly event that brings together our members and the wider local business community to share practical knowledge and connect with one another.    Each session will feature a short, 20-30 minute presentation from a Freshmill member on a transferrable skill. It is great opportunity to learn from each other’s expertise, build new connections and yes, enjoy a coffee and slice of cake while you’re at it!

This February our speaker will be long-time Freshmill resident David Tingley.  David is the founder of five community magazines and started his journey as an editor and advertising salesperson over 16 years ago. Kipper Life publish magazines in Lindfield, Cuckfield, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks and Haywards Heath. With his experience both from selling ads and being a graphic designer - David will talk us through the 'do's' and 'don’t’s’ of creating great ads for print. And why print still matters, in this digital world.
