Spring Newsletter 2025

Spring is in the air at Freshmill — a fresh start, new faces and strong momentum heading into the warmer months. Here’s what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next.

Summary:

  • We hosted an open-day on 15 March at our Haywards Heath space, offering guided tours, complimentary coffee from Coffee Works and cakes by The Lindfield Brownie Company.

  • The team welcomed a new Marketing & Communications Manager (Caroline Ford), bringing fresh energy with a background in advertising and her own brownie business.

  • Our “Freshmill Focus” feature kicked off with an interview with Chris Bridges of Tacit Legal, highlighting the growing need for tech & media law support and AI-native legal services.

  • We’ve increased the use of our virtual office offering and shared a short article on how flexible workspace solutions are supporting freelancers and growing businesses.

  • Upcoming member-events:

    • 30 Sept – Head-Shot Day (free session with Alex Rickard Photography; digital files paid).

    • 14 Oct – Business Advisor Day with Luke Brice from the West Sussex Growth Hub (free 1-2-1 sessions).

  • An article on the true cost of coworking versus coffee-shop working was shared for members interested in workspace efficiency.
